Malta: We will declare recognition of Palestinian state at UN General Assembly

Maltese Prime Minister Robert Abela announced that his country will recognize a Palestinian state during the UN General Assembly in September. Abela announced in May his intention to recognize a Palestinian state, and planned to declare it at the peace conference initiated by France and Saudi Arabia that was scheduled for June but was eventually postponed.
