Mother of twins who suffered abuse at 'Mini Bambini' daycare in Petah Tikva: 'A ticking time bomb, there is no law'

|
Tanya Cohen, the mother of twins who suffered abuse at the 'Mini Bambini' daycare in Petah Tikva, addressed the plea deal with Shifra Rachel Cohen, a caregiver at the daycare who was convicted of four counts of simple assault under aggravating circumstances of toddlers. She said in an interview with ynet studio that "there is no enforcement, there is no law and the punishment accordingly. It is a ticking time bomb." Cohen added: "This is a very lenient sentence. The writing was on the wall. When I heard the recordings and the repeated threats toward the children, I was horrified. The conviction must be harsher."
