Two soldiers in the Syrian army were killed in an ISIS attack in the rural area of Raqqa in the north of the country. This was reported by the Lebanese network Al-Mayadeen, identified with Hezbollah, which added that the Islamic State took responsibility for the attack. In Syria, it was additionally reported that ISIS published a claim of responsibility for the killing of another official in the regime of the country's president Ahmed al-Sharaa in the city of Al-Mayadeen in Deir ez-Zor province.
