Report: Palestinian activist who praised Hamas arrested in Greece 'due to Israeli pressure'

|
Palestinians report that Greek authorities arrested Mohammed Khatib, a prominent 35-year-old Palestinian activist who serves as the European coordinator for Samidoun, a radical and antisemitic organization for "solidarity with Palestinian prisoners." According to the report, he was arrested in Crete on his way to participate in a conference dealing with the situation of prisoners in Israeli jails, and the arrest was carried out "following Israeli pressure." Last August, Belgium revoked Khatib's refugee status after he praised Hamas and justified the October 7 massacre.
