The commander of the missing persons search committee of Iran's General Staff, Baqer Zadeh, accused Kuwait of evading reporting on the fate of four Iranians in its territory. Zadeh did not elaborate or specify what happened to them. He repeated the claim that Qatar is holding Iranian fighter pilots captive and accused it of attempting a cover-up. "A team of experts from our Air Force has been waiting to enter Qatar for several months to conduct a field investigation, but this is not happening due to ongoing delays by its authorities," he said.
