Sharon Sharabi, brother of hostage survivor Eli and Yossi who was murdered in Hamas captivity, is joining the Yisrael Beiteinu party. Sharabi said he is joining the party "out of a sense of mission and deep responsibility toward Israeli society as a whole. I grew up on Likud values - the old Likud - nationalist, statesmanlike and security-oriented. Today, 'the old Likud' is Yisrael Beiteinu." Party leader Avigdor Lieberman said: "I am pleased to announce Sharon's joining the Yisrael Beiteinu party. Sharon brings with him civic leadership with his unifying approach, and he represents values of responsibility, mutual guarantee and strengthening the resilience of Israeli society."
