Saudi television channel Al-Hadath reported from sources that Bedouins have taken control of the villages of Taara, Al-Dor, Al-Duwayra and Al-Tira in the As-Suwayda region of southern Syria. According to a Syrian report, "crowds from Daraa and Bedouin tribes from the cities of Homs and Hama are making their way to As-Suwayda." Meanwhile, sources told Qatari television station Al Jazeera that "more than 500 Bedouin families have been displaced from their homes in As-Suwayda." This occurred, according to the Qatari channel, "after their homes were burned by armed groups."
