President Isaac Herzog and German President Frank-Walter Steinmeier visited Kibbutz Be'eri as part of a trip marking 60 years of diplomatic relations between the two countries. The presidents held a personal conversation with Be'eri's management board members and other kibbutz residents, some of whom are survivors of the October 7 massacre. Later, they participated in a ceremony at Be'eri's old gallery plaza, where plans for the new gallery were presented. The ceremony concluded with the planting of a tree as a symbol of the community's rehabilitation and revival.
