An 81-year-old elderly woman was killed and another woman was injured by artillery fire that Russia carried out on the city of Kherson in southern Ukraine. This was reported by city officials, who added that another man was injured from a drone attack in the city center. In another attack in the center of the country, an energy project in Poltava province was hit. Provincial governor Volodymyr Kohut noted that the attack led to a brief power outage for some consumers.
