ICC in The Hague condemns U.S. sanctions: 'Insult to millions of victims'

|
The International Criminal Court (ICC) in The Hague issued a harsh statement against the new sanctions imposed by the United States on judges and deputy prosecutors of the court. The statement said this represents "a blatant attack on the independence of an autonomous judicial system operating under the mandate of 125 countries from all regions." It further stated that the sanctions are "an insult to member states, the rules-based international order and most importantly – to millions of innocent victims worldwide."
