After the attacks on his country, Azerbaijan President Ilham Aliyev revealed that this morning Iran's deputy foreign minister called Baku and requested its help in evacuating Iranian embassy personnel remaining in Lebanon. "I received a briefing and immediately instructed to provide assistance and send a plane," he wrote on his X account. "They even offered to cover the costs, but I refused — if we don't help in difficult times, when will we help? But they responded with an attack in such a disgusting and disrespectful manner." Finally, Aliyev wrote: "This stain will never be erased from their shameful and ugly record."
