The IDF has cleared for publication that Staff Sgt. Amit Cohen (19), a resident of Holon and a fighter in the 13th Battalion of the Golani Brigade, fell in battle in the southern Gaza Strip. It was also reported that in the incident in which Staff Sgt. Cohen fell, a combat officer in the battalion was seriously wounded. The officer was evacuated to receive medical treatment at a hospital and his family has been updated.
