The Syrian Observatory for Human Rights, operating from London, updated that the death toll in clashes in southern Syria has exceeded 500. Among the dead are 79 Druze fighters and 154 residents of al-Suwayda. The death toll includes 83 people who, according to the Syrian Observatory, "were executed by the Ministry of Interior and Defense of the Syrian regime." Meanwhile, Syria reports the displacement of Bedouins from al-Suwayda in the south of the country toward the rural area of Daraa, after "a series of retaliatory actions against them."
