Miki Feld, the legendary producer of Festigal, has died at the age of 87. Feld is considered one of the founding fathers of the entertainment industry in Israel and one of its most influential producers. In 1981, he initiated and produced the first Festigal — a show that within a few years became one of the most beloved and significant traditions in Israeli culture, and an inseparable part of the lives of generations of children, parents and families. Alongside Festigal, Feld was a partner over the years in the creation and production of many shows and cultural events, and worked with the finest artists and creators in Israel. His funeral will take place tomorrow at 4:00 p.m. at the Kiryat Shaul cemetery.
