Central Elections Committee Chairman Justice Noam Solberg clarified that 'the elections to the 26th Knesset were conducted properly.' The statement, made by Solberg alongside Shin Bet Chief David Zini and Attorney General Gali Baharav-Miara, was delivered amid suspicions of Qatar's attempt to influence the Knesset elections. According to Solberg: 'The election results reflect the will of the voters. Any irregularities that exist are being examined these days. Our position is that even if the suspicions are confirmed, this does not detract from the integrity of the election process and the election results as a whole. The claim that the evidence before us may undermine the election results as a whole is incorrect.'
