Solberg: 'Election period is stormy, forces from within and without seek to incite and divide'

|
Chairman of the Central Elections Committee, Supreme Court Justice Noam Solberg, addressed the atmosphere in the country ahead of the elections to be held next month, saying that "the election period is stormy. Candidate to candidate is a wolf, and tempers are flaring." At the opening of the judicial year, the justice said that "there are various forces, from within and without, seeking to challenge us, to incite and divide. We must guard against them. If they succeed, we will all lose. We feel we need to win; to complete, to reconcile, to unite. That there be peace among us. Strife and discord guarantee failure. Electoral integrity is the recipe for victory."
