U.S. President Donald Trump attacked Iran's Supreme Leader Ali Khamenei in a post published on his Truth Social network. "Why is the 'Supreme Leader' from the war-torn country lying so blatantly that he won the war with Israel - when he knows it's a lie," Trump wondered. "I knew where he was and didn't allow him to be eliminated. I saved him from a humiliating and ugly death, and he doesn't need to say 'thank you, President,'" Trump continued. According to him, he had been working in recent days on "removing sanctions from Iran" but decided to stop the process following Khamenei's statement of "anger, disgust and hatred."
