Health Ministry: Hospitals moved to highest alert level and underground facilities

|
The Health Ministry has instructed all hospitals to raise alert to the highest level, move to protected areas and descend to protected underground facilities in accordance with advance guidelines that were previously provided. Hospitals will not conduct outpatient and non-urgent (elective) activity. There will be no activity in HMO clinics and well-baby clinics except for essential activity, such as dialysis. The Health Ministry has instructed hospitals to discharge patients who do not require hospitalization. The patients will be discharged to their homes or to long-term care facilities.
