French Defense Minister Sebastien Lecornu claimed that the French military assisted in intercepting Iranian drones launched toward Israel in the days before the ceasefire. "I can confirm that the French military intercepted fewer than 10 drones in recent days during various operations carried out by the Islamic Republic against Israel," Lecornu said, adding: "Some were intercepted through air defense systems and others by fighter jets."
