The port is considered a very significant point for Iran, located on the northern edge of the Strait of Hormuz at the entrance to the Persian Gulf, as it is the country's largest commercial port. Additionally, the Iranian news agency "Saberin" reported that air defense systems were activated near the nuclear facilities in Isfahan.
