The Lahav 433 unit arrested a government official and contractors on suspicion of bribery in exchange for lack of supervision. According to the suspicion, the government official conspired with contractors who employ foreign workers from Turkey who are in the country without a legal permit. Those contractors paid monetary bribes to the official in exchange for lack of supervision at construction sites where the foreigners are employed, with some of the money coming from the workers themselves. In addition, suspicion arose that those contractors were also involved in smuggling the foreign workers through Jordan in exchange for monetary payment collected from them. In total, three suspects were arrested and two others were detained.
