Satellite imaging company Planet Labs announced it will indefinitely refrain from publishing images of Iran and the Middle East conflict zone at the request of the United States. The California-based company informed its clients of the decision via email, noting that the U.S. administration requested all satellite imaging providers to indefinitely refrain from publishing images of the conflict area. The restriction expands a 14-day delay on publishing images from the Middle East that the company imposed last month, a move it said was intended to prevent adversaries from using the images to harm the U.S. and its allies. Planet Labs said the policy is expected to remain in effect until the end of the fighting.
