Attorney General Gali Baharav-Miara addressed suspicions of foreign interference in the 26th Knesset elections, saying she is not aware of evidence that could affect the results. "I am not aware of any infrastructure that has, even approximately, the capacity to affect the election results or to substantiate a claim of influence that could lead to a change in the election results," she said. "If additional and new information is presented to us that has not yet been presented, it will be examined and handled according to the law. When there is evidentiary infrastructure, those who need to be investigated will be investigated. This is not a matter of right or left. This is not a matter of Jewish or Arab. The decision whether to investigate a person is a professional, substantive and equitable decision. That's how it was and that's how it will be."
