President Isaac Herzog opened the Outstanding Soldiers Ceremony at the President's Residence on Israel's 77th Independence Day. The event began with an honorary flyover, featuring formations of Air Force combat aircraft and helicopters, saluting the outstanding soldiers representing all military branches. The President addressed the pilots over the communication network, saying: 'Soldiers and commanders of the Israel Defense Forces in the air, sea and land.
