The Ashkelon Magistrate's Court extended the detention of Denis Nikandrov (35) who is suspected of murdering his neighbor David Isakov over a dispute about 50 shekels. The police representative stated during the hearing: "The deceased, a father to three, was a combat unit veteran with no criminal record, who asked a small favor from the building residents – a contribution of 50 shekels to fix a leak. Instead of having a conversation or reaching an agreement, Nikandrov allegedly chose to act with merciless cruelty, showing deep contempt for the value of human life and allegedly murdered the deceased with a knife."
