Legal adviser on government-initiated investigation committee: "Personal and invalid"

|
Avital Sompolinsky, Deputy to the Legal Adviser to the Government Gali Baharav-Miara, delivered her opinion on the political investigation committee initiated by the government. She wrote that "the bill raises significant legal difficulties, and the circumstances of the proposal do not align with the vital need for a professional and independent investigation committee." She also wrote that "the proposed committee creates politicization, and there is a real concern that political considerations will override the professional considerations essential for investigating the truth. The bill is personal and invalid."
