Yisrael Beiteinu Chairman Gadi Eisenkot said he stands by the account he gave this week at the Ynet and Yedioth Ahronoth conference, according to which Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu did not respond to him for hours after an F-16 fighter jet was shot down by Syrian anti-aircraft fire in 2018. "If he wants to clarify what happened, he can be asked to publish his schedule from that morning - as he did yesterday," Eisenkot clarified during a 'Culture Friday' event in Rishon Lezion. "This is not the first case in which Netanyahu did not speak with the chief of staff during a security incident."
