Tehran residents are fleeing the capital in one of the largest exodus waves since the war began. The New York Times reported this based on accounts from four Iranians who left Tehran heading north. According to the report, they are moving north to the Caspian Sea coast amid the deadline and Trump's threats to attack power stations. Iranian state media reported that traffic is now one-way toward the north to accommodate the large volume of cars leaving Tehran on the mountainous highway connecting the capital to the north.
