US President Donald Trump announced in a post on his Truth Social network that Israel and Iran have agreed on a ceasefire to begin in six hours. "Congratulations to all!" he wrote. "There is full agreement between Israel and Iran that there will be a complete ceasefire (in about six hours, when Israel and Iran complete their final missions!)."
According to Trump, Iran will be the first to stop fire and after 12 hours Israel will follow. "At the 24th hour, the world will celebrate the end of the war. Assuming everything works as it should, and it will happen, I want to congratulate Israel and Iran for the courage and wisdom to end what should be called 'The 12 Day War.' This is a war that could have lasted years and destroyed the entire Middle East, but that didn't happen."
