Ilana Curiel, Shay Shachaf|
Rabbi Chaim Yosef Aberjil from Netivot is the prominent southern rabbi suspected of committing sexual offenses against women, following complaints about misconduct on his part. After the first complaint was filed with the police against the well-known southern rabbi, additional women came forward about the abuse they experienced - and two more complaints were filed against the rabbi today. Police have established a special investigation team at the Beer Sheva station to investigate the complaints against David Aberjil, whom they plan to bring in for questioning later.
