Yashar Chairman Gadi Eisenkot responded to Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu's call to form a unity government, saying, "If Likud and its members are suddenly interested in 'unity' and a broad government, they are more than welcome to publicly announce the dissolution of their alliance with the extremists, accept Gadi Eisenkot's four principles and express their willingness to join a government under him as prime minister. Until then, this is nothing but pathetic spin." He added: "The one who divided, tore apart and caused conflict in Israeli society suddenly uses the word 'unity' only when he realizes his days in office are numbered."
