Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu approved the tightening of Home Front Command restrictions in the Mount Meron area, which will ban gatherings in open spaces of more than 200 people. Over the past week, discussions were held to create frameworks for holding the Mount Meron hillula celebrations in accordance with Home Front Command guidelines, but due to the tightened restrictions, the celebrations will most likely be canceled. According to the emerging framework, there will be three bonfire-lighting events, each with a limit of up to 200 people, and they will be managed by the police.
