Hundreds of people participated in a ceremony marking the transfer of the 'Holy Cannon' from which fire was directed at the Altalena ship to the Etzel Museum in Binyamina. The initiative was led by Heritage Minister Amichai Eliyahu, and Defense Minister Israel Katz also attended the ceremony. In addition, the renovated Etzel Museum in Jabotinsky Park was inaugurated. The museum serves as a site commemorating the organization's activities and presenting the legacy of its fighters, who operated during the British Mandate period as part of the struggle to establish the state. About a year ago, Ynet first reported on the plan to transfer the cannon from the IDF.
