MK Hamad Amar: 'What happened in the Druze Mountain reminded me of the Holocaust'

|
MK Hamad Amar (Yisrael Beiteinu), who crossed the border into Syria yesterday, said in an interview with Ynet studio that "what happened yesterday in the Druze Mountain was gang activity under government protection. We are talking about a massacre. Something like this happened on October 7. It reminded me of the Holocaust." According to him, "I entered the village of Khadar and my goal was to get the young Druze out of Syria, and I succeeded. I entered around 2:00 PM and left at 10:00 PM. I hope I managed not to leave any Druze child or young person behind me inside Syrian territory."
