Iranian Foreign Minister: 'Nuclear facilities are for peaceful purposes - attacking them is an unforgivable crime'

Iranian Foreign Minister Abbas Araghchi will meet today in Turkey with the foreign ministers of the Organization of Islamic Cooperation countries. Ahead of the meeting, he said: "We hope for a firm statement condemning the Israeli attacks. We will communicate Iran's truth to the world. Attacking our nuclear facilities, which are for peaceful purposes and are under IAEA supervision, is an unforgivable crime. This will have serious implications for international law, especially for the Non-Proliferation Treaty and the credibility of the IAEA. Iran will stand firm against Israeli aggression and respond as necessary, based on its legitimate right to self-defense."
