Central Elections Committee Chairman Judge Noam Sohlberg ordered the blurring of police officers and security personnel in a campaign video released by National Security Minister Itamar Ben-Gvir. The decision was made in response to a petition filed by attorney Shachar Ben Meir against the video, in which he argued that it constitutes the use of public assets in connection with election campaigning, in violation of the Elections Law. Judge Sohlberg partially accepted the petition and ordered the reduction of the appearance in the video of the police officers who were part of the minister's security detail, by blurring their images wherever possible.
