The French court has decided to release Lebanese militant Georges Ibrahim Abdallah from prison after serving nearly 40 years for his involvement in the 1982 murder of Israeli diplomat Yaakov Bar-Simantov, and the attempted murder of American consul Robert Homme in 1984. This was reported by French television network BFM.
