The Nature and Parks Authority announced that there is a risk of flash floods in the streams of the Arava, the Negev, the Judean Desert and the Dead Sea from today until Wednesday. The authority stated that 'there is an absolute ban on entering stream channels on foot or by vehicle when there is flow, until the water level drops completely. This is a life-threatening danger. In addition, it is forbidden to approach the edge of a stream during a flash flood, due to the risk of bank collapse.'
