The military court sentenced Muhammad Waskar Shnatir to life imprisonment plus 50 years for the murder of Bat Sheva Nigri in a shooting attack in the Hebron Hills in August 2023, where another person was seriously injured, IDF spokesperson reported. According to the indictment, the two decided to carry out the attack several months earlier with the intention of killing Jews and established contact with Hamas terrorists. They arrived at the Beit Hagai area equipped with weapons and three full magazines, and when they identified the vehicle carrying Nigri along with her daughter and another person, they opened automatic fire. Additionally, the terrorists were ordered to pay compensation of 3.4 million shekels.
