NATO Secretary-General Mark Rutte backed the Israeli-American strikes against Iran. Rutte said: "What the US is doing together with Israel is very important. They are hitting and weakening the possibility that Iran will have nuclear capability and its ballistic missile program." He said this in an interview with the German public television channel ARD.
