The Merhavim Regional Council announced that Aharon Yehuda (12), a resident of Moshav Betacha, is the child who was killed in the traffic accident on Route 241, near Ofakim in the Negev. The council wrote to residents: "We struggle to write these lines, but with great sorrow and immense pain we are updating that in the fatal traffic accident, Aharon, the son of Orit and Eyal from Moshav Betacha, was killed. May his memory be a blessing. Our hearts are with the Yehuda family, the council and moshav teams are accompanying the family and the community. We pray for the full and speedy recovery of those injured in the accident. The funeral date will be announced later."
