A year after they got engaged, and 1,003 days after they were abducted together from Nir Oz, hostage survivors Sasha Trufanov and Sapir Cohen got married. The event was attended by hostage survivors, including Arbel Yehud and Ariel Cunio, Shani Goren, Moran Stella Yanai, Rom Braslavsky, Itan Horn and Daniel Aloni. President Isaac Herzog arrived with his wife Michal, and said at the wedding canopy that he had previously stated he would not attend any wedding until all the hostages returned. Former head of the Hostages Command Major General (res.) Nitzan Alon also attended.
