18 people were injured in a traffic accident involving eight vehicles on Highway 6 near the Yiron interchange. Magen David Adom teams evacuated 10 people who were lightly injured to Hillel Yaffe Hospital in Hadera, and in addition eight lightly injured people were evacuated from the scene. The highway was closed to traffic heading north but now two out of three lanes have been reopened. Heavy traffic congestion still exists at the site.
