The Ministry of Health announced that it destroyed approximately 110 kg of beef and poultry products "unfit for human consumption" at a Victory supermarket chain branch on 10 Oppenheimer Street in Rehovot, due to "severe sanitary and operational deficiencies" identified during an inspection by the municipal veterinarian. Among other issues, it was noted that inspectors found "expired products, freezing and thawing of meats contrary to law, and food stored in violation of guidelines in a manner that could endanger public health."
