The prosecution filed an indictment with the Haifa District Court against Doron Weitzman, 54, from Beit She'an, for the murder by close-range shooting of Caucasian mafia boss Yanis Yoshbayev on August 23. According to the indictment, Weitzman armed himself with a weapon and arrived at the restaurant in a stolen vehicle bearing forged license plates. He ordered food and waited for the deceased to arrive. When Yoshbayev left, Weitzman followed him, aimed the weapon at his head, shot him 'with chilling composure, after prior planning, in broad daylight, in a crowded restaurant' - and fled.
