Greta Thunberg's Gaza flotilla forced to return to Barcelona: 'Storm at sea, it's dangerous'

|
Organizers of the pro-Palestinian flotilla "Sumud," including climate activist Greta Thunberg, announced they were forced to turn back a day after sailing from Barcelona due to stormy weather. "We conducted a sea trial and then returned to port to allow the storm to pass," the flotilla organizers said, noting that winds in the area reached about 56 km/h. "We are postponing our voyage to avoid risking complications for the smaller vessels," they added. The organizers did not specify when the flotilla is expected to sail again for Gaza.
