A fire broke out in an open area near the Yavne Interchange. Fire and Rescue Services reported that "the fire is spreading in an open area and producing heavy smoke in the region, following wind direction. 12 firefighting teams are operating at the scene with assistance from a firefighting helicopter, aiming to prevent the fire from spreading toward the nearby road and buildings."
