IDF forces arrested two Hamas militants who surrendered in the Shaboura neighborhood of Rafah several weeks ago. According to the military, one of the militants was a Hamas platoon commander and a commander in the terror organization's sniper array. He infiltrated Israel on October 7 and was responsible for holding several hostages who were later released. The IDF also reported that knives were found in the possession of both militants, and during their interrogation, intelligence information was obtained about the location of terror infrastructure in the Rafah area.
