Second consecutive cut: Bank of Israel lowers interest rate to 3.5%

|
The Monetary Committee of the Bank of Israel decided to lower the interest rate in the economy by a quarter percent to 3.5%. This is effectively the second consecutive time the interest rate has been lowered, and the third since the beginning of 2026. The Bank of Israel's decision matched the expectations of forecasters, who estimated that the interest rate would be lowered, among other reasons due to positive inflation data.
