CENTCOM: We struck 3 Iranian tankers after missiles fired at aircraft carrier

|
The United States Central Command (CENTCOM) reported that forces struck three Iranian oil tankers carrying crude oil after the Revolutionary Guards launched ballistic missiles at two U.S. Navy warships patrolling regional waters. The American aircraft carrier and a missile destroyer successfully evaded several Iranian attacks with no casualties. It was reported that "Central Command permanently disabled Revolutionary Guards crude oil tankers off the coast of Kharg Island and near the port city of Jask. American forces also completely destroyed an empty crude oil tanker in the Gulf of Oman and struck the vessel."
